      Hello Friends

I got my PR in late 2014 and moved to Melbourne July 2015. Initially I moved alone to find a job and then in December joined by my wife and daughter. So far I am finding Melbourne quite lovely, beautiful, vibrant city with bit of a Victorian feel. I like the energy of the city and quite happy to be living in the most liveable cities in the world.
Though a bit late to join this forum, I would like to learn from others and share my experience with other fellow Melbournians.
      Cheers!

Have you done any sightseeing since your arrival?

Dandenong Rangers, Yarra Glen or Great Ocean Road?

      Cheers.

Yes, but very little. I have done Great Ocean Road, brighton beach and st Kilda beach. Lot more to see. Planned to do Puffing billy with my daughter, but unfortunately due to her being sick, had to cancel it. Fortunately, now that spring is here, I can plan some more trips.

You and your daughter will enjoy Puffing Billy; make sure you pick a nice clear day, not too hot and not too cold.

Thanks mate! I will definitely check it out soon. Few weeks back went to Melbourne Star giant wheel. Though the experience was good, I felt it a bit too pricey. Fortunately, weather was good and my daughter enjoyed a lot.

Look into the tram restaurant as well. It's quite an interesting experience. One of those things you won't mind doing once.

Here is another great place to take the family and friends and while you are out in the Yarra Valley call into some of the wineries and sample their wares.
