Bundoora area, play groups, etc.. Advice needed..
Hi all,
We have just moved to Bundoora from Essex, uk. We've been here for almost 2 months and I've been a bit slow sorting stuff out and my 4 year old daughter is missing being around other kids! Does anyone know any good play groups or other places to take kids in this area? I can't get too far as I need to use public transport at the mo.
Thanks

Hi Natalie,
There are some great places for kids in bundoora. Bundoora park has a few brilliant playgrounds plus a children's farm. There is a good playcentre (wriggle it) on grimshaw street and check out playgroups Victoria, we've been to the playgroup in kingsbury a few times, it's good but your daughter might be a bit old as it was mainly little ones.
Welcome to Melbourne! X

Thanks! I'll check out the play centre! We went to bundoora park to see the animals, not been to the parks there yet. Should do that on the next sunny day! Playgroups Vic is a good website, I think I'm going to enrol her to a group near us. It's funny having to enrol to a play group, not sure what to expect? The ones in the uk were good, but you came and went as you pleased and they were free, although unstructured, it was mainly for mums to chat! I'll pop along and see what it's like here. Thanks for your help!
